I'm Peter Ambridge, an independent digital designer based in Birmingham.
If you are looking for a versatile designer to tackle website design & UI, branding, exhibition or print design projects, I can help you. Take a look at my work below.
Creating a simple content managed website along with the business branding and photography
I was instrumental in re-creating the Crossway Church website on a CMS where they could easily update content.
This Birmingham-based architectural practice commissioned me to create a website that showcased their portfolio of projects and clearly presented their business offer.
I assited the marketing department at First Utility to refresh their two business websites, designing image assets.
Providing a new corporate branding approach. This included signature photography. Applications included, their annual report brochure, exhibition materials and a press advertising campaign.
An event organised by the Lord Stafford Awards at the National Exhibition Centre. I was instrumental in developing the visual branding approach for the Festival and a 48 page visitor guide.
Developing branding for this Birmingham-based charity. Applications included business stationery.
Automatic Refreshments Ltd approached me to design a brand image for their up-market coffee dispensing products
Systemcare approached me to design a suite of product brochures. Alongside the brochure design projects, I helped to shape their visual branding approach across other communications. I was also involved in designing product labels for Systemcare.
Annual review publications were designed for Focus Birmingham as well as event materials promoting their 10th anniversary celebration. A key consideration in the design process was to ensure high levels of print legibility, adhering to RNIB guidelines. Not only did this have implications on the page layout and typography, but also on the paper stocks utilised.
This 36 page review publication was commissioned, outlining some of the key achievements. I worked within the framework of existing branding to provide the organisation with a fitting final review brochure.
The initial brief outlined the requirement for a new corporate identity and style guidelines for this Midlands-based business and university awards programme. Subsequent work included the role-out of the branding across exhibition stands, event materials, newsletters and promotional literature.
I have many years of design experience under my belt. I've worked in small design businesses, in-house design roles and as a self employed designer/freelancer. And, most recently I've worked as a designer/manager within a software firm, overseeing the design of websites.
Here are testimonials from my clients.
